Autonomous Vehicles are expected to drive the Volume of automotive LiDARs in Future.

There is an urgency to develop and enter in the market for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles. OEMs are accelerating their efforts to develop and manufacture advanced level of vehicles to tap into the ever-growing demand of enhanced vehicles with additional driving and safety features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, collision avoidance system, lane departure warning system, night vision, surround view system, and parking sensors, among others. Along with these trends, a lot of disruptive newcomers and traditional OEMs are trying to develop their own fleet of Robo-taxis, to tap into the huge market of Mobility-as-a-Service.

The market values of different LiDAR types segregated by application for Robo-Taxis and ADAS and autonomous vehicles. At present, LiDARs in Robo-Taxis hold the maximum share in the global automotive LiDAR market with a revenue of $XX million as compared to revenue of $XX million for LiDARs in ADAS and autonomous vehicles. Both the markets are expected to increase due to the higher adoption of robo taxis and ADAS and autonomous vehicles, which will help to increase the amount of LiDARs fitted in the vehicles. The following figure illustrates the volume of LiDARs in both robo-taxis and ADAS vehicles. Volume of LiDARs in Robo-Taxis is currently high, but due to the onset on autonomous vehicle, specially after 2023, there will be an increased demand for LiDARs in ADAS and autonomous vehicles.

In both ADAS and Robo-taxis, there is a need for advanced sensors, such as RADARs, Camera Sensors, and LiDARs. These sensors are used to provide real-time data to the vehicles system for self-driving features.

Personal Care Ingredients Market Size, Share & Trends Analysis Report 2019-2029

The introduction and proliferation of bio-based ingredients in several industries, such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, has been transforming the manufacturing landscape since 2000. Growing consumer inclination toward the adoption of bio-based products due to rising health and environmental concerns is driving the demand for bio-based ingredients in the cosmetics and personal care products. Besides, awareness among consumers regarding the harmful effects of synthetic ingredients chemicals has grown rapidly over the past years. In addition, the availability of green raw materials has also urged large cosmetic firms to develop bio-based cosmetic products. However, limited availability of raw material, due to erratic weather conditions and stringent environmental regulations, can pose substantial hurdles in the production of bio-based ingredients. Thus, leading companies have been focusing on developing new and sustainable ways of producing the ingredi...

Strategies Incorporated to Sustain the Competition

The strategies followed by various prominent companies to sustain the competition and expand their market share has been varying from mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to collaborations and partnerships. Increasing Adoption of Lidar in Construction Applications

The construction industry is continuously growing and has been witnessing various technological innovations. The construction industry depicts high complexity, steep costs, and low toleration for error, that facilitate the adoption of laser scanning. Lidars have enabled the construction industry to gain 3D models of existing space and build digital plans on those real spaces. Digital collaboration frameworks such as building information modelling (BIM) deliver the value of the scans to every element of a construction team in formats that are best suited to their needs. BIM schematics also provide continuing value to facility maintenance and operation teams. BIS Research Report on Lidar Market Numerous stages of construction projects are scanned for quality assurance, cross-checking with models, and spotting errors. Lidars can also be deployed for quality evaluation of prefabricated materials, allowing an efficient, and cheap evaluation. Furthermore, lidars find applications i...
